ASC Region V Student Competitions

Hosted by

responsibilities rules

The Student Competitions are a very successful event started with QUOIN (the Dallas AGC Chapter in 1996). Go to the QUOIN web site where you will find the latest information about this upcoming event.

Competitions are typically held in mid February. Consult the Quoin website or the Events page for actual times.

Competitions are typically held at the QUOIN building, Dallas, Texas. The Heavy-Civil competition problem (16 hour problem solving time) is conducted at the Hampton Inn or Drury Inn. The Commercial Building and Design-Build competition problems (16 hour problem solving times) are conducted at the local universities.

Students from all universities in ASC Region V are eligible to participate or attend. Participating students must be currently enrolled in an academic program of an ASC Region V member school or pay the non-member registration fee.  Non-member school team may not advance to the ASC/AGC National Student Competition. Non-member schools wishing to participate in the ASC Regional Student Competition must pay a non-member entry fee of $250.00 per competition team.

A Drury Inn and Hampton Inn are nearby off of the I35 and Walnut Hill Exit.
